Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients
4 salmon filets about 2” wide
For Teriyaki Glaze
1 1/2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp white vinegar
1/2 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp of lime juice
⅓ cup packed light brown sugar
3 medium garlic cloves, minced
Presentation:
Sesame seeds to garnish, optional
Green onion, chopped, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with greased tinfoil.
Combine sauce ingredients and stir until brown sugar is completely dissolved. (Tip: Double the recipe for the sauce, and use it for your side items.)
Place individual salmon slices in a mixing bowl or zip lock bag (I prefer the bag method so I can shake it up). Once in the chosen container pour your marinade over the salmon. Let marinate for 20 minutes.
Transfer marinated salmon to your prepared baking sheet but keep the marinade. Bake at 400 for 12-15 min or until salmon is flaky and cooked through, bake times may vary by thickness of salmon. I use a food thermometer to help me out. (145F is fully cooked)
Now that your salmon is baking, transfer remaining marinade to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Let boil for 2 minute and then reduce heat to a slow simmer to allow the sauce to thicken. After about 4 minutes remove from heat and set aside.
