Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl


  • 2 TBSP soy sauce

  • 1 TSP rice wine vinegar

  • 1 TSP toasted sesame oil

  • 1 TBSP ponzu sauce

  • 1 ½ TSP sesame seeds

  • ½ TSP red pepper flakes

  • 1 LB sushi-grade ahi tuna, cubed

  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced

  • 1 avocado

  • Rice (white or brown)

  • Edamame

  • Pickled ginger

  • Seaweed salad

  1. Following package instructions to cook your rice and set aside.

  2. Whisk together soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ponzu sauce, and red pepper flakes in a medium mixing bowl. Add the cubed tuna and scallions, gently stir together to cover tuna. Marinade for 5-10 minutes

  3. While tuna is marinating, pit and cube the avocado, cook your edamame, and prep your seaweed salad and ginger.

  4. To serve, scoop rice into bowls and top with tuna, avocado, seaweed salad, ginger, and edamame. Top with sesame seeds for garnish.
