Crockpot BBQ Chicken

I work in the medical field, and I often have 12 hour days where I am exhausted and starving by the time I get home. Recipes like this one are a saving grace and something I look forward to coming home to all day! Super simple and delicious!

  • 2 lbs 3-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed of fat

  • 1 1/2 cups Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce

  • 1/2 medium onion, grated with juice

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp worchestershire sauce

  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ teaspoon of pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Stir together all sauce ingredients into a crockpot (must be 5 quarts or larger)

  2. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Chicken is done when cooked through and easy to shred.

  3. Place chicken onto a cutting board and shred each breast using two forks. Place shredded chicken back into the crock-pot and stir to coat with the yummy sauce.
