Brown Butter Thyme Carrots

Ingredients:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 lb baby carrots 1/4 teaspoon salt 3 dashes ground black pepper 1 tablespoon honey 1 teaspoon chopped thyme
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425F.
Place an oven-safe cast iron skillet into the oven to heat through. After 5-7 minutes, take out the skillet and place on the stove top on medium heat.
Add your butter and stir until completely melted and the butter has started to turn a golden brown color.
Add your garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add your carrots to the skillet. Completely cover with your butter garlic mixture.
Next add your honey, salt, pepper, and thyme to the pan. Continue to stir and incorporate until your carrots are your desired doneness. I like my carrots to keep a crunch so around 7-8 minutes on the stovetop.
