Garlic White Wine Mushrooms


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound small button mushrooms or baby bellas

  • 3 tablespoons of EVOO

  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped or crushed

  • 1 medium onion, minced

  • 1/2 cup white wine

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoons chopped parsley

  • salt to taste

  • pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Clean your mushrooms. Depending on the size of your mushrooms you can leave them whole, halve them or quarter them. I prefer to halve mine.

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and onions. Allow onions to cook down for about 3 minutes. Next add your garlic and your mushrooms. Allow to cook for about 5 minutes. At this point you will see the mushrooms start to caramelize.

  3. To the skillet add 1 tbsp of EVOO, lemon juice, butter, and white wine. Cook for about 1 minute.

  4. Top with parsley and season with salt and pepper.
